JC Niala

JC Niala (IF PI) is an anthropologist, curator and historian with an interest in how language functions as a cultural archive. She is a University of Exeter Honorary Research Fellow and a doctoral researcher at the School of Anthropology and Museum Ethnography, University of Oxford.

Recent projects include Rethinking Relationships and building trust around African collectionsCommunity Action Research and  Tracing Nubian archives through time in Kenya and the U.K. Her podcast series on African history can be found here & on iTunes.
