Ian Dawson is an artist and Lecturer at Winchester School of Art, University of Southampton where he is Director of Critical Practices Research Group and Convener of The Material Lab. He has exhibited extensively with solo shows in New York, London and Paris and has works in both public and private collections worldwide. His work is featured in Contemporary British Sculpture (Schiffer), Collage, Assembling Contemporary Art (Black Dog) and Making Contemporary Sculpture (Crowood Press). He lives and works in London.
