Edwar Hanna brings to the IF Phase 2 project over 8 years’ experience in the non-profit sector working with UN agencies including IOM and UNICEF and international NGOs and funders. With fellow Phase 2 project team member Nour he has founded Syrbanism, which is an award-winning organisation dedicated to aiding Syrian diaspora in knowing and accessing their HLP rights (housing, land and property). At Syrbanism Edwar has been responsible for project development for several EU based initiatives. He has been a board member of DNA, a diaspora network for refugees. He has a master’s degree in urban development from UCL London and previous degree in architecture from Damascus University.
